Undergraduate Research AssistantAreas of Research:
Bahareh is an undergraduate research assistant at the Bionics Lab, advised by Ning Jiang. At the same time, she is pursuing her BASc in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Waterloo, ON, Canada. Her current research is focused on pattern recognition based prosthetic control using ultrasonic signals. She has also conducted research on the development of a robust signal processing algorithm against contraction-level variation for myoelectric control. Her research interests lie at the intersection of neuroengineering and neuroscience, with a focus on neural information encoding and decoding.
